BOB CEO and co-founder Alexei Zamyatin will be speaking on industry panels, our BD team will be on the lookout for builders and partners, and we’ll also be co-hosting and sponsoring some must-attend events.
Consensus Hong Kong
February 18-20, Hong Kong
One of the leading conferences for the APAC region, Consensus Hong Kong will feature panels with industry leaders like Richard Teng (Binance), Adam Back (Blockstream), and Yat Siu (Animoca Brands). There will also be useful sessions and workshops, with the “Bitcoin: The Basis for a New Financial System?” session on Feb 19 being of particular interest.
Attending on behalf of BOB is Head of Asia BD, Eligos, and APAC Marketing Lead, Amanda, who will both be present at two side events—Superchain Asia Gathering (Feb 20) and Trust Wallet HK Meetup (Feb 19). Eligos will be speaking at both.
ETHDenver
February 23 - March 2, Denver, Colorado, US
The world’s leading #BUIDLathon and innovation festival, ETHDenver is the place to be for building, networking and hackathons. Alexei will be in attendance, and will be joined by other team members, including Gregory (Lead Engineer), Chris (Head of BD), Zhixi (Ecosystem Growth Lead), Miguel (Social Media Manager) Reuben (Product), Derrek (DevRel), Petra (Event Manager) and Eligos.
BOB will be at the following side events during ETHDenver:
- BitVM Night (Tuesday 25 February) - BOB will be hosting one of the most highly anticipated networking events in conjunction with Fiamma and Babylon, revolving around Bitcoin Defi’s game-changing innovation—BitVM.
- Encode Denver Modular DeFi Hackathon (Monday 24 February) - We’ll also be sponsoring Encode’s two day DeFi hackathon, with Alexei speaking at their Research day on Tuesday.
- Restaking Circle Denver (Monday 24 February) - BOB will have a booth at this event which explores the frontiers of restaking, actively validated services, and networks.
- L2 Roast @ ETHDenver (Wednesday 26 February) - In conjunction with Bitcoin Layers and Mezo, BOB will be attending a 2 hour Bitcoin L2 roasting event, where various L2s will be scathed publicly in an entertaining yet insightful manner.
- Bitcoin Renaissance summit (Thursday 27, Friday 28 February) - BOB will also have a booth at this exclusive two day event that brings together the brightest minds and top projects building on Bitcoin—with Alexei joining a panel and giving a keynote.
- House of ZK (Friday 28 February, Saturday 1 March) - The main event for Zero-Knowledge projects, this is an opportunity for innovators to come together and educate, share progress and network. BOB will be sponsoring this event, and you can catch the team at our booth during both days.
Paris Blockchain Week
April 8-10, Paris, France
A leading blockchain and web3 event in Europe, Paris Blockchain Week has been attracting top industry leaders, investors, and innovators for the past few years. A notable gathering during the week is “Bitcoin Investors Day” (April 7), which will bring institutional investors and global C-Suite leaders together to focus on Bitcoin as an investment asset, and the ground breaking technology driving its evolution.BOB’s Emmanuel will be on the ground for business development, so come and say hi if you are in attendance and would like to learn more about our Hybrid Layer 2.
TOKEN2049 (Dubai)

Taking advantage of Dubai’s vibrant crypto scene, TOKEN2049 will be the place to be for those looking for engaging crypto meetups, workshops, and networking opportunities. With tens of thousands of attendees expected, it will be an ideal opportunity for the BOB team to showcase our Hybrid Layer 2 and growing ecosystem.Alongside driving brand awareness, we’ll be looking to sponsor an exclusive event, forge key partnerships, with Alexei, Chris, Zhixi, and BOB’s Head of Marketing Nick being the representatives on the ground.
Bitcoin Las Vegas
May 27-29, The Venetian, Las Vegas, US
Predicted to be one of the largest Bitcoin conferences this year, it is estimated that there will be over 30k attendees, which will likely see most Bitcoin builders coming together under one roof. With notable speakers including Michael Saylor (MicroStrategy) and Cynthia Lummis (U.S. Senate) providing valuable insights, and an array of networking and community building events on offer, Bitcoin Las Vegas is a must attend for everything BTC.BOB’s Event Manager Petra is currently in the process of confirming the team’s attendance, with a sizable contingent expected to attend in order to evangelize Bitcoin DeFi at the heart of the Bitcoin community.
Protocol Berg
June 12-13 Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany
As part of Berlin Blockchain Week, Protocol Berg v2 focuses on protocol research, decentralized infrastructure, and core-developer experience, and will bring together researchers and other stakeholders from different decentralized protocols.BOB’s CTO and co-founder Dominik is attending the event, where he will be expanding upon BOB’s value-proposition for Bitcoin and decentralized finance.

EthCC is renowned for its community-driven approach and emphasis on Ethereum’s advancement. With over 330 side events last year and thousands of attendees from 80+ countries, EthCC provides a great opportunity for learning about the Ethereum ecosystem’s latest developments, and networking with leading ETH stakeholders.BOB’s Alexei, Nick, Zhixi and Chris will be there (as well as other team members whose attendance is pending confirmation) to engage with fellow builders and highlight our contributions to DeFi.
